Ajay Devgn recently attended the trailer launch of his much-awaited film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha where he was asked about his other highly anticipated film Singham Again. Fans of the Bollywood superstar are eager to see him don the cop-avatar of Bajirao Singham and now as a treat to these Rohit Shetty film fans, the actor dropped a major update wherein he opened up about shooting for Singham Again.

Readers would recall that Singham Again was supposed to arrive in August along with Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, the film’s release date was pushed further as the filmmaker felt that there was more work pending to be completed on the film. Addressing the same, Ajay Devgn shared details about the progress of Singham Again at the trailer launch saying, “I am not sure (about the release date). Jo kaam chal raha tha film mein woh abhi tak khatam nahi hua hai, thodi bahut shooting bhi baaki hai. Toh hum koi jaldi mein nahi hai, kyunki jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai. Toh jab hum tayyar ho jayenge tab hum release karenge (The work on the film, which kicked off earlier, has not been completed yet and a few portions of shoot is pending as well. We do not want to release the film in a hurry because that often ruins it. So when it is read, we will release it then)”.
Reports suggest that the makers are keen on releasing the film around October or November, and want to cash in on the festive weekend around Diwali this year.
About Singham Again
Singham Again is the third film in the Singham franchise and the fifth film in the ambitious Rohit Shetty copverse. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the leading lady along with Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist. As a part of the copverse, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh are also slated to make special cameos and this action entertainer will also introduce two key characters of the cop universe which is Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is expected to release in the last quarter of 2024.
